Diemme Filtration srl, with registered office in via Lanfranco Gessi, 16 Lugo (RA), Italy, as Data Controller, hereby informs you that, pursuant to REGULATION (EU) 2016/679, Legislative Decree 2003/196 et seq. Legislative Decree 101/2018, that the personal data you provide (e.g. identification data such as first name, last name, username or similar identifier, email address, telephone number, etc.) will be processed for the following purposes:

1. 1. accessing the platform and using the multimedia content therein;
2. 2. communications about new content that may be of interest to the user; communications about new events and/or webinars that may be of interest to the user; communications about new products that may be of interest to the user.

The above purposes are pursued in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness and non-excessiveness and in compliance with the legal provisions on data privacy protection. The legal basis legitimizing the processing of data is:

• – the performance of the service referred to in point 1;

In case of refusal/withdrawal, it will not be possible to access the platform and execute any kind of promotional communication covered by this privacy policy for point 2. Personal data will be processed by our authorized and instructed company personnel, as well as by third parties who process personal data on behalf of the Data Controller as External Data Processors, such as, but not limited to, functional IT and logistics service providers, professionals and consultants. The data will not be disseminated (not even to non-EU countries and/or international organizations). We also inform you that all data collected will not be subject to any automated decision-making process. The processing of personal data is carried out mainly through the use of electronic and/or computer tools and technical organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data. Data may be stored on both computer and paper media, as well as on any other type of media deemed most suitable for processing. Data will be kept for a period not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed, or until consent is revoked. Once the retention period has expired, the data will be appropriately destroyed or anonymized.

The data subject has the right to:

• – Access their personal data (e.g., obtain a copy or know where it has been made available);
• – Obtain rectification or erasure of their data or restriction of processing;
• – Object to processing;
• – Data portability where possible (e.g., receive data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format);
• – Withdraw consent;
• – Propose complaints to a supervisory authority (Privacy Guarantor, urp@gpdp.it).
